My friends don't like me hanging out with stoners b/c they're afraid that I'm gonna start doing drugs. I just think stoners are funny and fun to hang out with. But I am Christian, and I know that I'm supposed to be witnessing to these "stoners." What do I do? Do I keep hanging out with them?? Ahhh..help!

I think that you are putting yourself in a position where, in hanging out with these "stoners", you risk becoming associated with them. People will see you and believe that you are also a stoner. Jesus himself would not have cared, his intent was to bring them his gospel.
On the other hand, If you are hanging out with them because you like hanging out with them, simply tell your Christian detractor friends that you are witnessing to them, and have done with it.
How important is your Christianity? That is your question to answer.

I personally went through the same thing in high school. I didn't do any drugs at first. Still got a bad reputation. Ended up doing drugs. Getting into alot of trouble. I'm all cleaned up now, I have been for years. These people are on a dead end road. Do yourself a favor and find people to hang out with that want to make something of themselves other than acting like an idiot, smoking dope, getting fat from having the munchies, and most likely flunking out of school.

i've got faith such as you're being unfair. merely because of the fact he does one ingredient you do in comparison to you opt for to end your friendship? Being extreme merely places you in a greater effective temper, it would not replace that persons character. And a minimum of he's elementary with you and tells you what he's approximately to do. I recommend what might you particularly him do? Lie at contemporary on your face and then bypass smoke? Then come decrease back needless to say extreme? If it gets to the element that he can no longer have exciting devoid of smoking then tell him he's getting out of hand, yet i've got faith such as you're overreacting. You can witness to them with out getting too friendly with them. I admire your determination to share the gospel just make sure you don't get dragged down in the process. There is not only the risk of you doing drugs. There is a risk of you blowing your witness with others, if you're hanging out with stoners people will think you are one and that will damage your witness for sure.

Assuming you are talking about schoolage, if you plan on going to college, just don't touch the stuff...Some people are going to judge you by you just hanging out with stoners...so, be aware of that...but you should do what makes you feel comfortable...

It's not a good idea to hang with people who do drugs. If they were to get arrested then you could be arrested also. There could be different people who think that you do drugs also. I once had a boyfriend who did drugs. I have never done drugs. My two sons weren't too happy when they found out who I was seeing. They had thought that I was also doing drugs since I was seeing a drug addict. We are no longer seeing each other. I got tired of being around drugs all the time.

If I were you, I would not only keep hanging out with these hippies, but I would become a huge pothead because everybody is doing it. You want to be cool, don't you?
Forget about school, no one thinks it is cool anymore. Just do drugs, and nothing else. If church tells you it's wrong, ignore them... for they don't know what they are talking about. That is why they the church preaches fairy tales.
Your friends are losers, because they don't do drugs. You don't want to be considered a loser, do you? The only way to be cool is to do drugs, skip school, and lose faith.

If you care about your image yes, it is bad. People are automatically going to assume that you are a stoner because you hang out with them.

Your time is better spent not hanging out with them. Even if you don't do any drugs, they will surely instill lazy habits in you. Stoners don't do anything but get stones, if you hang out with them, you won't be doing anything with your time either.

i think if you like hanging out with the stoners then thats what you do. just make sure they know you arent going to do any of that...if they are your true friends they wont push it on you or ask you about it. Just hang with who you wanna hang out with. i hung out with stoners and dated some and it wasnt a peer pressure thing..they knew that they couldnt offer it to me so i knew who my real friends were.
