What team do you think will take home the Lombardi Trophy in the 2007 Season? I know it is too early ro decided but what is your opinion. Don't just choose a team because they are your favorite, choose the team you think will win the Super Bowl next season.
Also, who thinks the New England Patriots will make the playoffs?

In the AFC it could be the Pats, Chargers and of course the Colts.
In the NFC it could be the Eagles, Seahawks and Bears

I think with Belichick and Brady leading the helm the Patriots are a playoff contender every season. They are my favorite team so I admit my bias but also just looking at their current run, they were 18 points ahead in the AFC Championship game with one half to go in an off year. They have started filling a few of their holes with two first round draft picks to come. I don't believe their free agent signings are as big a deal as they are being made out to be in the media but they do help. Another year of experience for their two new coordinators also helps a bunch.
The Chargers are the most talented team but they're going to have it tough this season with an entire new coaching staff aboard. Its going to be a battle in the west with the newly improved Broncos who are somehow quietly having probably as good an offseason as anyone and the Chargers down until week 17.
Belichick, Pioli, Brady and company are returning to championship form

I say the Lombardi Trophy is coming back home to Green Bay. Things are looking up for the green and gold.
The Patriots are going to make it to the playoffs, no problem. With Stallworth at WR they finally have a decent offensive threat in the air.

Well, I'm a Carolina Panther fan, and I've given up on listening to experts saying Carolina is a Super Bowl contender, I just wanna watch them do it instead of say they will, they should have in 2005 when we still had Will Witherspoon, but we didn't have a running back or #2 WR...it happens....So I am not picking Carolina...sadly.
New England has a very good shot at winning the Super Bowl. They made it to the AFC Championship game last season and barely lost. They would have beaten the Bears also. With the addition of Thomas, Welker, and Stallworth to their cast of Brady, Samuel, Bruschi, Seymour, Maroney, and supporting WR cast, this team is ready for a 4th championship.......and oh how I hate to say that.

I think the Chargers are going to win the Superbowl next year. They now have the playoff experience and heartache that the Colts had this year as well as the most talented team in the league. The Patriots will not only make the playoffs, but should play San Diego in the AFC championship game based on their offseason moves.

New England is a playoff team without a doubt barring some season ending injuries. As far as who will win the SB next year? Let's just say it will definitely be any 1 of probably 8 AFC teams that are legitimate contenders.

I think it's a bit too early to decide. But if I had to choose now, I'd go with the New Orleans Saints. Their loss to the Bears was in my opinion a fluke. The weather was on the side of the Bears. They have all the weapons they need for passing & rushing. And it kinda might be a miracle story. But I wouldn't count the Patriots out for another year or two.

The New England Patriots will do more than make the playoffs...Super Bowl #4 is coming...because they have gotten everything they need in FA, except a CB...and they'll do that in the draft...Bellichick and Brady are the best coach and QB in the league...Anything else?
