Here's the thing about lying and the truth... You might not ever be able to tell the difference...maybe so if you have the gift of this knowledge( I'd rather not have it though!) but you can either trust or not trust. Trust is an amazing thing... it can make you feel great because you have it, or it can make you feel like crap when it's broken. So who do you trust... your friend, or your ex?

The question is here, do you still like him? If you do, then ask him out. If you don't still like him, then don't worry about it. It can be nice to have admirers from afar!
