Well... better than "stinky tofu" which is popular in Taiwan. Stinky tofu is basically fermented tofu, and as the name implies it smells extremely pungent.... like thousand year old cheese. Apartments in the vicinity of a stinky tofu stand often issue complaints to the local authorities in an effort to get them closed down... usually without success.

I don't even like the look of tofu, so never smelled it.
