Because we're not in Oz. But no really monkeys can fly...but only down. They have a real problem with landing though.

Monkeys/Apes can fly. They are called humans and they fly in planes :P

Monkeys cant fly because they they didnt evolve to fly

Who sayst they can't? Ever heard of a flying lemur? I mean it's not the same way falcons fly, but they do glide....and of course there's Wizard of Oz :- D

because it was not evolutionary advatageous and they had no flight adaptability in their close ancestors. A far stretch is that they might have evolved to glide like a sugar glider but it didn't happen, obviously.

same reason we cant .and they are too dumb to build planes
although their is a glider monkey
that has skin between its legs and it glides betwee the trees
