Need help in sentence logic

I don't see a question here...Truth tables are used in logic to map out which values in the sentence are true and which ones are false depending on the type of sentence.

As you can see, depending on how many variables there are, there are more situations. So, if you have a statement like "Bananas are yellow" it could be represented as 'p' in the table - there are two possibilities: either the statement is T(rue) or F(alse).

When there are more variables, it depends on the type of sentence. For example: "I like either apples or oranges" Assuming that this is an example of an exclusive 'or' (which means that you can't like both of them, only one or the other), the table would have two values 'p' and 'q' which represent the statement rewritten: p="I like apples" and q="I like oranges". Since only one can be 'T' at a time, the table would show two situations: (1) p=T & q=F and (2) p=F & q=T When the operators are different (or, and, if...then, not), the table will reflect the different possible combinations that will make the statement true.
