Just like I felt about Coulter's comments during the CPAC, I would like tl give a best answer to an objective liberal (Iknow there are some out there), who will admit that calling Rice and Powell house slaves is over-the-top.

On the bigger scope, isn't it time that we let our wounds from our past racial sins heal? I know many from my party who are perpetuating the problem and I try to call them on it, but I can't keep both sides of the street clean. Even if you don't like Rice, Powell, Cosby, Swann, or Keats doesn't mean they are less black, does it? I just get tired of the politics of race-baiting. Like all blacks have to be Democrat b/c they are the only party that will do anything for them? Do people know that LBJ could not have passed the voting rights act without the votes of the GOP in the congress. The southern Democrats were opposed, by and large.

For the guy who thinks this was old news - March 10, 2007 (yes, he repeted the ignorant statement made in 2002). http://www.foxnews.com/video2/player06.html?031207/031207_hc_harryb&Hannity_Colmes&Harry%27s%20Hate%20Speech%3F&acc&Politics&-1&News&414&&&exp

Great question! I never heard his actual statements. What I did piece together, I'd say yes he did. If I understand his premise that some (blacks) are doing themselves in through denial or self defamation, he has a point. This is true of some within every culture. To call people disgusting names is never a good course of action to take and I think he may have done so from the 2nd hand quotes I've heard.

Thanks for the invite.

He has a right to express his opinion, whether right-wingers like it or not.

We left-wingers have to put up with whatever Ann Coulter and Rush Limbaugh say.

If you live in a country with freedom of speech, this means that you will sometimes hear things you don't like. If you don't like the way we do this in the U.S., feel free to leave.

Ann Coulter is on crack.

as far as Harry Goes, he's old.

And that crack about Rosie, she embarasses the Democratic Party, if she is a member she should be tarred and feathered.

I thought the Donald would tower her down, but that blimp is still standing.

she is total pukeworthy

Good post!

I was also offended by Coulter's comments.

And by Bill Maher's gay-bashing:

I find it refreshing that a lib would ask this question...HOWEVER...the answers that he got I found to be EXACTLY what I was expecting...shots at the GOP and excuses for Bellefonte...that's about right for the MAJORITY of libs...hypocrites to the end....

"wounds from our past racial sins heal?".....how will it heal when even today systematic racism is exercised nationwide?

the education system in the US punishes blacks/minorities. ever hear of an excellent minority school?...there seem to be plenty of good schools where whites attend, so tell me all the great schools for minorities?.......

Liberals don't like facts.
They just ignore them.
We have beautiful intelligent Ann Coulter.
Democrats have Rosie O'Donnell.
How Fitting!
Cool.

I doubt they will. It's OK to make nasty personal attacks if you are a left winger.
