Just like I felt about Coulter's comments during the CPAC, I would like tl give a best answer to an objective liberal (Iknow there are some out there), who will admit that calling Rice and Powell house slaves is over-the-top.
On the bigger scope, isn't it time that we let our wounds from our past racial sins heal? I know many from my party who are perpetuating the problem and I try to call them on it, but I can't keep both sides of the street clean. Even if you don't like Rice, Powell, Cosby, Swann, or Keats doesn't mean they are less black, does it? I just get tired of the politics of race-baiting. Like all blacks have to be Democrat b/c they are the only party that will do anything for them? Do people know that LBJ could not have passed the voting rights act without the votes of the GOP in the congress. The southern Democrats were opposed, by and large.
