Oedipus Rex - Tragedy, but kinda funny in a sick way.
Long Day's Journey Into Night - damn tragic! (get the kleenix ready!)
Airplane - funny as hell and it's about a plane coming down, go figure!
The Breakfast Club - do I really need to go into detail?
The Graduate - classic!
Some Like it Hot - omg it's just so adorable and funny and a lil tragic that those guys had to dress like women in order to help their careers!
Tootsie - see above
For more recent films:
The Pursuit of Happyness - pretty sad, but it has some mild funny parts.
Running With Scissors - get ready, this one isn't easy to watch.
Children of Men - amazing, comical, tragic, a must see film.
Melinda, Melinda - supposed to have a lil of both.

Tragedy - Alfred Hitchcock did some good ones and they are suspenseful too, like Vertigo, Strangers on a Train, and Psycho.
