well, you are a senior. you don't have much time left in HS. Don't let the whole scene get you down. No matter what stage in life we are in, there are always stupid people who are all about themselves and who try to make themselves feel better by picking on others. It's a sad fact of life in this world.
There is no shame in doing things you like. Don't let those people who say you are lazy get to you. If you are happy, that is all that matters. And just remember, HS is almost over for you... then you get to move onto college and/or working - where you can 'start fresh'.

it's only bad if you are staying home to hide from life. you sound like you may have some depression issues... maybe talk to your parents or your school counselor about the way you feel about school and the kids you're there with...

you are a young person, a senior in high school, and should be out enjoying yourself, not laying around at home eating & watching tv - those bad habits can wait for when you are old and tired like me...

No, it is not bad to stay at home a lot. I'm actually pretty much like you. When I was in high school I didn't really go out, just hung out at home since my parents were really strict. Now that I think back, I really did not miss out on much. Most of the students I knew in high school were pretty much immature and way into themselves for me to really care to hang out with them. There's nothing wrong with it, everyone just needs their space. As long as you're not bothering anyone or hurting anyone I don't see why it should be wrong or bad.

high school is the major suffering years. don't expect it to get any better. Try going out and meeting people that don't go to your school. Do things you like- don't worry about the kids you're with who you don't even like anyway. Just do what you want.
