"In my hamstring" I feel a popping like sensation when doing deep stretches. Someone suggested that this could be due to the tearing of tightly woven scar tissue. I do have very tight hamstrings, and my GP has confirmed this. The popping can come at any time, but again mostly with deep stretches. I don't have any of the sympotms for pulled hamstrings, but I'm not ruling it out. Any insights would be great.

Furthermore, I seem to have read in a health magazine once that a popping "in" or behind the hamstring is bad. Although I cannot remember why. Any more details anyone?
