im new to adobe photoshop and i want to know how to use it, please provide a site that would be good to teach me how to use it

I don't know of any sites for instruction, other than the company website.
I have always done trial and error and "playing" with the features to see what each one does.

Well there aren't many sites that go step by step in the process of exactly how to use it but I would suggest getting some books. Like the photoshop bible or something like that. However, there are many tutorial sites that show you how to do a lot of effects with photoshop. When you learn the tutorials you will pick up how to use certain tools and what certain tools do. That's the main way I have learned to use it. Also if you'd like to see other people's work with photoshop go to worth1000.com, it's a site where people submit their work in themed photoshop contests.

well I haven't had much experience with photoshop and i don't know many online tutoral, but the way I figure things out is by playing around with it.

http://www.Lynda.com is extremely helpful, but it requires a subscription. It is the best. If you know how to download torrents you can get the tutorials for free.

www.adobe.com has some excellent tutorials. I use it all the time. And it is free.
