I overheard some coworkers talking about a previous employee coming back to the job. Although they have not talked it over with the boss, they giggled about "bumping" someone off. Right now our job is full staffed..i havent been working there too long, and a new person was hired a few days after i was...can my boss fire me this quickly???

That is true. Sad to say but the last one hired is the first to go. That happened in my last position. I was working at the Federal Reserve Bank and the company decided to switch temp agencies. Three months later, they tell me that I am no longer needed because I was the last one to get hired by Remedy before they made the switch. so, good luck job hunting.

Well I hope it will not happen but I have seen this happening. I live in NYC and here you can get job easily if you know the manager personally, if not you will be the first one to dumped in.

that isn't be a sturdy factor to placed on your resume. Be genuine and informative: record the employer, state from what date to what date you worked there, record your activity household projects and paintings carried out. often we go away one activity for yet another for profession possibilities. you do no longer ought to put in your resume why you left or in spite of if it replaced into your thought or theirs. while you're asked (often in an interview) why you left , you are able to take care of that then. If the activity replaced into of extremely short length and you have been fired for reason, which you ought to to go away that activity out of your resume altogether.

Yes. But if your work performance is good or better than someone else in the office then they may get the axe and not you.
