have you tried workouts that aim specifically at your abs and hips. i think that's the key. if you've tried it already.... oh..

I joined Weight Watchers when my daughter was five weeks old as i had put on 2 and a half stone. I have lost a stone in 8 weeks and have done no exercise as im still tender after section. im also wearing those tight knickers that hold your belly in and that helps. My belly seems to be the last place im losing weight from but it has reduced and im not expecting miracles. I think it really depends on your body type. I dont think exercise will help if you have a layer of fat on top then no amount of exercise is going to help, although it will make you fit and healthy. Remember it took 9 months to put on so you should give it 18 months to come off!!! Take the pressure off yourself and enjoy your baby , i still enjoy a baileys and chocolate every night when baby is in bed.

Welcome to mother hood! I had mine 3 and half years ago and the jelly belly is still here! Admit it, you don't see many mums with a figure of a teenager do you? Once that part of you has been stretched beyond it's capacity then it becomes like a piece of elastic that's been over stretched - loose and unable to return to it's original size.

Are you still nursing? Although "they" say breastfeeding helps you to lose weight quickly, it was my experience that the fat clung to me until my son was weaned and my hormones came back into balance. At that point, just moderating my sugar and casual bike riding 3-5 times a week & 17 pounds fell off!

I have a two month old and have that problem (duh two month old), what i have been doing is using an exercise ball. It comes with workouts that have helped me lose inches already. I have only done them for a week and a half. I went from not being able to get my pants up to being able to zip them up. The work outs include leg lifts, curls and push ups. Let me know if you want more details.

It will go in time, I dont belive in diets! If you feel you need to shiff it then try doing a few sit ups keep you knees bent and arms behine the back of your head just lifting your head of the floor till it pulls in your tummy.

Oh welcome to my world. I have two children and i still have mine. lots of fitness and eat healthy. I have started to work out every day/night and walk everyday and i have noted a changed in two weeks. How about your calorie in take? i only allow myself 1300 a day and i think this is why i have noticed a change.
Good luck and hope you feel happy with yourself soon

supposedly crunches and sit ups work but its not helping my flabby belly so far, my baby is also cuming up to 8 months. best way i can get rid of my flab is wearing "suck me in" underwear and very decieving clothes. good luck
