always check the classified ads in your paper. There is always help wanted signs for otr drivers. If your record is too bad then you might be better off becoming a diesel mechanic or driving a desk. It depends on how much of an insurance risk you are to a company. Be honest though cuz they will find out. You could also try being an owner/ operator and running your own. The insurance will be expensive though. If all else fails, choose another line of work. Good luck to you!

well you could get your own authority and become an owner operator but at a certain point you will not be able to afford insurance if your record is that bad- otherwise I would contact recruiters at all the large companies and listen to their advise. If you cannot drive then you will just have to work the dock until your MVR clears up.

Don't go for a driving job. Go for a desk job. Behind the wheel it's too big of a risk.
