Because the baby has been willed billions of dollars, and who ever gets it will get partial control of that and the estate until adulthood. So there are a lot of would be fathers suddenly wanting to see if their turn with anna was the result of this cash baby. Sad, but it is all about money more than it is about who is the real father. But the courts will make sure that there is no question who is the real father and take the childs best interst first.

Because it's good for the publicity. In the journalism world "Bad news = Good News" I'd say that a paternity battle over a dead Anna Nichole's baby is bad news....then again anything dealing with Anna Nichole Smith is bad news.

The baby and the father listed on the birth certificate are hanging out in the Bahamas. Not the US. There's different laws to deal with.
