Yes! Welfare is for people who truly need financial assistance and by lying to get on welfare it is like stealing from millions of hardworking people. I work in financial services and encounter so many people who truly need financial assistance and choose not to take advantage of it for fear of taking something from the community that isnt theres. They fear by having financial assistance they are taking away from other people who need help. THose are the people who DESERVE welfare. And in my opinion theives, like your friend, dont deserve things like welfare. Report him/her.

I would report that person because I believe that it should be there for the honest people who really need it. It is the people like that who make it rough for the ones who really need help.

That's called "fraud" and it IS against the law. Also part of the reason that people that NEED government assistance can't get it! Whether you report it is up to you.
