i'm getting married in july and am making a matching cumberbund and bow tie for my fiance and my son. in the pattern, it says i need "adjustable slider", "interlocking buckle" and "bow tie set". can somebody please help me. i'm not sure what those 3 things are.

The adjustable slider is the silver piece that slides the elastic either shorter or longer depending on your waist length....basically it tightens the cumberbund. The interlocking buckle is what puts the cumberbund around you. One piece will go on one side and the "hooking" piece goes on the elastic side. As for the bow tie set.....I'm not sure about this one. Perhaps it's a kit to make the bowtie??

They are the metal components of the items you are going to make. They are available in any large fabric store. Look in the area where they sell notions ,or their wedding trims.
