Our no tresspassing signs seem to have no affect on them. Last week i was in the shower and looked out, sure enough, there they were again, a whole car load of them. so i stepped out of the shower and answered the door in the buff and told them, come on in...........they ran. havent been back. my husband is mad at me. was i wrong?

You were wrong in that you could be charged with indecent exposure and even become a registered sex offender if they chose to press charges.

Yes, you can be charged for being naked in your own home because by answering the door in the buff you did not have a "Reasonable Expectation of Privacy."

I would say that in the future you just answer the door and politely tell them you are not interested.

I would like to tell you however, that any woman can answer the door in the buff if I come by. I waive my rights.

You will never get rid of them. They are trained as children to be thick skinned and turn the other cheek.I know this as my son-in-law was one until he married my daughter.
As for you going to the door in the buff....good for you!!!

OMG I LMAO!!!! That is AWESOME!!! You were not wrong at all! In fact, thanks for doing it! Perhaps I should try the same thing the next time they come knocking at our door! Appears to have worked for you! :-)

Tell them you are Roman Catholic. Not just Catholic, but Roman Catholic. They'll run away like you have horns a tail, and a pitchfork in your hand.

They will be back now for sure because they will think you need moral guidance.

Tell them you are disfellowshipped. That will keep them away. They are persistant aren't they.
