I cant sleep at night thinking of the horrible pictures of new born babies in the trashcan that i saw on a website recently

DONT GET UPSET. I KNOW IT HAPPENS HERE TOO. CALM DOWN , I KNOW ABORTION KILLS TOO, BUT WOULDNT THE BABY SUFFER MORE IN A TRASHCAN HOURS OUTSIDE IN THE COLD. I WISH I WAAS RISH SO I COULD ADOBT OUT THERE AND SORRY IF I AFFENDED ANYONE. I JUST HEARD IT HAPPENS MORE IN CHINA

your question is soul shattering.... heart wrenching... one that can and has been discussed now for decades... with no "real" answers..... because there really isn't much we can do but talkabout it... say how horrid it is... maybe at some point write our government, ban products.... which in turn really won't do much other than surface clean up.. it will still happen.... further along other more horrid things may and are apparantly occuring... I found some info while looking into the validity of your question... I do not mean to offend.. and I knew that decades ago (1970's) this was happening... I thought that when the news broke in the 80's somehow this all got cleaned up... which is why I was saying before without a real solution...

I do agree it is a horrible plight... to be faced with do I kill my child on the spot before birth... or I do leave my child in the trash... where she will surely die as well...or maybe the fates, GOD will intercede and spare my child....

that is one choice I hope, I pray I never have to face... I think I am safe in my little nitch of the world.... but, eh.... never know now do we..... anyway.....

oh, and for a time, my husband Was one of the guys who pick up garbage (dumpsters/rolloff not curbside) and there is a chance for an infant.... person.. animal.... before you get to the compacting... hello? first it goes to a transfer station gets dumped on the ground and they use poles to make sure all that there is is none hazardous or some such thing... transfer stations are the places where you can bring your leaves, refuse, recyclables your town dump in come cases.... in NJ there are a few....... then to another site... and? not compacted... unless it is being sent out of state.... nope... just dumped into a big hole over a side of cliff looking thing and covered up.... sorry to the lady who thinks all garbage is compacted? naw.. just what you see on the backs of the eighteen wheelers and/or barges..... the rest? not compacted lol....

why don't they abort?

1) how many abortions has the girl already had... you can't have an unlimited number

2) hope/delussion that they will have a boy

some things that might be going thru the mind of a woman or girl pregnant?

okay, so instead of the throwing away.... abortion is what they should do... as I already stated.. how many while the father waits for his son, rejects daughters... threatens wife?

there could also be a flipside to the "decent" or less painful mode of disposing of an unwanted pregnancy.... there are all sorts of other rumors that have also gone on for decades... such as, the aborted fetuses in turn become food? I found quite a few sites that claim yes, it is a practice that some smaller sects in China preform... other sites/articles state no.. I am hoping it is NOT something that is done... but, what if? what if all these poor babies are aborted so that they do not suffer only to turn around and be eww... food? how is that the lesser of evils with that?

It's interesting how people will say "oh but abortion is murder." It kind of seems like they are saying it's okay to throw the baby in the trash just because the baby is alive... I agree with you how sickening it is and I also agree that they should be aborted rather than thrown away. But since most are saying "well atleast they have life" well I have seen how they get rid of trash, it gets crushed, so therefore the baby would get crushed. I also do not understand why people are getting so offended and being rude to you over this. Maybe they should re read your question. I am prochoice, although I would never get an abortion. That is not only happening in China, it happens everywhere, just not as much or not as advertised. I understand where you're coming from and I agree with you.

In China, the amount of children you can have is regulated by the government. If you have more than the allotted number you can and most likely will have sanctions against you. So, abortion is very accepted. But.. what happens if you're pregnant and realized it too late for an abortion? In those instances, they do throw them away. What happens if they feel they are strong enough to have the baby and face the consequences and then realize they're not? For those reasons and more ... Fear and ignorance, government interfering with basic human rights/ retribution can all prove too much for an individual. I feel as sorry for them as I do for the babies they feel forced to abandon.

In china they are only aloud one child unless they have twins and many couples keep waiting for a boy(because they are more able to provide for elderly parents) since they dont know the sex of the child before its born alot of girls aend up being tossed away or abandoned at orphanages it also happens to baby girls in India I do not understand how a mother could do it either I do know that the Chinese and Indian governments are offering cash bonuses for families who have girls

I asked a question similar to yours not that long ago and one girl told me that people that look down on teenage pregnancy and how people talk about teens getting pregnant that was a good reason for teenagers to throw theirs babys away like that. That person that said that has something wrong with her.

I do not know what it is like in china but so many babies get thrown away here in the us and most if not all are done by teenagers that should be on birth control or should not be having sex.

Then stop looking at those websites. That happens in all countries not just in China. And I bet the babies you saw were female babies. Families in China prize male babies over females and are only allowed to have so many children. If they have more children then the governement allows they are fined, often their electric and water shut off until they pay the fines or they are jailed.

They should just have the babies and pay the penalty. How can someone find it in their heart to put their own innocent flesh and blood into a trash can? It's inhuman and it goes against every fiber of a woman's being. People who do this are monsters not women.

Who knows?? You guess is as good as mine.
Put the baby on the steps of a church or hospital, the doorstep of someones house. There are SO MANY alternatives, but I guess they just dont think about that.

It's the law in China. Women in China are required to have an abortion or put their baby up for adoption if they already have a child.

They are the ones who have to answer God. I would love to have a baby and it makes me sick that happens and I am sitting here without one.
