The sign is by the clock and says System Alert. I have plenty
of Security on my computer and is running OK. If I press the bubble to to clear it try's to sell me a Security system.
Any ideas to get rid of

It's spam you picked up at a web page. To get rid of it run a spyware removing software. The best one in my opinion is Lavasofts Ad-Aware. It's ferewe you can download a copy at:

hold down ctrl alt and delete at the same time and then a window pops up with the programs running then close it out that way

yer m8 just had same trouble, you got a trosion horse m8 go to google and search for a free avast and download it pdq and run it and it will find the bugs and you need to move em to chest and when its fini you can delete them and avast will stop em in futer . i had norten and it just welcomed them in and my system allerted me and my comp speed was down by 33% and net speed was 0.6kbs but avast sorted it

sounds like spyware. download spybot and it should get rid of it.
