well, i have a huge spot on the end of my nose and i am going out on a first date tomoz. are boys shallow enough to stand up a girl, who by the way has a not-bad body and face (apart from the spot), from first glance???
what happened to personality?

no they won't stand you up. put some toothpaste on it over night and it should clear up most of the redness, and you should be able to cover it up with a bit of makeup

I am 22 and I still find that question hard to answer. Some will care about personality, the smart ones. But some not, as you found out already. anyway, if you look good you have to keep looking good! It's a big asset and you have to use it :D And spots come and go, and trust me, that's why it's called First Date! you'll have many more! Try not to eat bad food cause it causes spots and don't touch your face! and try a facial if you have the money! it's a great investment ;)
With men you have to be smart. Think with your head and don't let yourself fooled just because you like him very much.

Some boys will be that shallow, but not all!! If you have some witch stick, slap it on tonight and tomorrow morning. Make sure you cover it up when putting your make-up on with a good concealer. Take this out with you too so you can re-apply. If this boy says anything bad tell him your spot isn't as bad as the one between his shoulders!! ; )

before you go to bed tonight put some honey on your spot and cover with a small band-aid. What I just read in a herbal native American remedy book says that it should be gone or almost gone in the morning.

I don't think he will stand you up.
boys get pimples all the time (at least the ones I've dated)
You can do what the other person suggested and use makeup to cover it up.

He won't stand you up.
My other 1/2 and I have lived 2-gether for 3 years.
On our first date, I had trimmed my bang that am.
I did a very bad job trimming my bangs, they were really short.
My man says to me:
" Did you do something new with your hair?"

If thats the reason he stands you up then he's not worth worrying about.
Any decent guy wouldn't care about a spot.

If he has any sense, he will realise boys get spots too. My boyfriend is 36 & still suffers from spots!!! If you do get stood up then you are far better than him & he does not deserve you. xxx

Just shallow ones....if he's a true good guy, he'll keep the date...this could be a blessing!! See what kind of true grit he really has!! Good luck and have fun..

If it is a good person for you to date, they should understand that beauty is only skin deep.
They should not put too much weight on looks only. They should take into account the person underneath and not only their looks.
