I think if durant had one more guy, i like augustine..but listen they were down to BAYLOR by 25..that scares me

I think UNC's talent and coaching will be way too much for Texas. Texas will have some trouble defending the paint and the backcourts will be matched easily.

UNC. I agree that Durant is in a different league than almost anybody at the NCAA level, but I think UNC has a player that approaches him in raw talent, Brandan Wright, but not in physical development. Add to that the depth and atheltic ability, along with Roy's experience and skill, and I give the edge to UNC in one heck of a fight. Texas also has to come up with an answer for Ty Lawson's speed.
Edit: I didn't mean to slight Tyler Hansbrough, but his contribution may depend on whether or not he has to wear the mask. It definitely seems to hinder him offensively, though it didn't stop him from pulling down about 18 boards the other day.

Texas will beat unc who on that unc team Can guard Durant. Durant could do in the tournament would Danny manning did back in the day lead his team through the tourney

I would say Texas over UNC... Durant has the ability to carry Texas to the final four and his supporting cast is not that bad... just look at what Carmelo Anthony did a few years back... Texas just went toe to toe with Kansas for the Big 12 championship and should have won that game... that proves to me that they can hang in there with the big boys... and one big thing that bothers me about UNC is the injury to Hansbrough... although he's not going to miss any time - i think the mask he has to wear will affect his game somewhat... and even if he can take it off - look for him to be a little timid underneath

Texas has a great coach and Durant is a once in a lifetime player but Texas will have to be lights and and north Carolina will have to have an off game for Texas to win this one. Carolina has the bench and the team speed to be just good enough to win this one in a high scoring affair.

UNC. Did you spot them TEAR aside Arkansas???? that's the comparable group who beat #2 Tennessee interior the SEC Championship sport. My god, UNC made the Razorbacks appear as if no longer something. Ty Lawson is the quickest participant interior the rustic and no you may matchup with him. Wayne Ellington is shooting lighting fixtures fixtures out. Then, Tyler Hansbrough who's the perfect participant in united statesa. is doing his thang getting 20-10 each and each sport. UNC is loaded and deep. while Lawson is working and gunning, UNC is UNSTOPPABLE.

Plus, Brendan Wright has a strong supporting cast with him, Hansborough is one of the top centers. Their depth is way too much for Texas.
