I need some ACTIVE irish games (like a game involving moving,hiding) with AS LITTLE SUPLIES AS POSSIBLE that is good for an older girlscout troop

While a lot of the games are very similar to ones we play in the states, and some of them possibly skirt the line of what you really want to encourage Girl Scouts to do (the "game" where the kids would sit in rentable chairs without paying just for the fun of making the warden chase them is probably out!), but some of them are just strange enough to be fun!

Depending on how old your older troop is, and how active you want your irish games to be, you may consider hosting a mini-highland games event for the night (I know, I know, it's scottish not irish...) The advantage is that most of the equipment is, by design, easily available & could probably be improvised by raiding a shed or two; the disadvantage is that greater precautions would need to be made to ensure safety. (for example, I would never advise allowing minors to participate in a caber-toss... which is hypocritical of me, because I did at age 17, but there you go!)
