I'm 15, and my bestfriend is 16.
And my best friend and I are planning a trip to New Hampshire and Iowa.. But I found out my grandmother is sick with cancer, and Im trying to make plans to get to New Hampshire as soon as possible. But We have already bought plane tickets to Iowa first. Also I'll be there for a whole month, I don't want my grandmother being sick up in New Hampshire that long!!

What should I do? Am I able to exchange the tickets back and get ones to New Hampshire first, and then Iowa?!? Or should I just leave things how they are and wait a month to help her out?

This is a decision you need to make on your own with the help of other family members-where is your mom in all of this?
And talk to your grandmother. Only you can know the details of your situation. Of course, you can always change your plane tickets-for a cost-but you girls are young and ought to discuss all this with other family members! And ask yourself if you could peacefully be in Iowa for a month or will you be thinking about your grandmother? It's up to you to decide!

I surprised your parents are leting you go on a trip that long (my parents wouldnt) but i think you should talk it over with you parents or aske them to go and take care of your grand father if you can exchange the tickets

thats really a decision you have to make. you should talk to your parents about it.
in my opinion, family should come first.
i like what the first guy said - ask your grandmother and other family members. and consider what you'd feel comfortable doing.

maybe I'm old fashioned, but my parents would never have allowed me to go anywhere that long when I was your age. Have you talked to them about what to do?
