are you sure you aren't looking at something close to neutral and just seeing it as left? remember.. your view isn't in the middle.. so the middle will always look to one side... I've seen plenty of things on that network .. and from Katie... that would have made me feel they were more right leaning if not for taking a step back and remembering that I am not perfectly neutral.

Honestly I donlt get you guys. It is as if we are the only people in the world to have liberal and conservative Media. Big deal what do you expect? a complete conservative Media or the opposite? Well that would be a pure form of democracy wouldn't it?
The only thing I can tell about News ... Anybody who is open minded and truely looking for the truth should NOT rely ONLY on US Media. Read articles from the UK, France, Germany, and other sources around teh world and forge your own idea on what goes on based on the info you get. Don't just rely on one network because you like its anchor.
There are a LOT the Media be it right or left don't want us to know or would bypass. Trust your instinct and what make sense. Your best judgement is the best tool.

I know for a fact, that Katie Couric is a liar! Perhaps that and her "liberal-ness," which often are mutually exclusive, are why her ratings are sooo low. Charlie Gibson may have said "us" when talking about the Democrats during the election, but he is and tries to be the most objective one out there. An anchor/reporter shouldn't be expected to give up it's beliefs for the job, but s/he should still strive to be as objective as possible. Charlie knows that and does it!

I know allot of folks like to slam networks for being too conservative or too liberal. What I want to know is...where is the poor person's network? I'd like to here the news delivered by an anchor who makes around $12,000.00 per year. Then we might hear about something a little more substantial than Brittany Spear's hairstyle or Anna Nichole Smith's baby.

In the grand scheme of things, who cares? Those on the right view anything that doesn't follow their narrow world view to be leftist. Those on the left view anything that doesn't follow their narrow world view to be right-wing. Those of us who prefer the middle ground seldom get our news from only one source, like the majority of the extremists.
There is no dedicated news team anymore. All networks broadcast "infotainment", not news. The top "news" video on Fox is "Spring Break Backlash". The top on ABC is "Deadly Whale Attack video". What happened to news? Networks no longer care about getting us the facts. All they are concerned with is the shock factor, and FOX is the worst offender.
I, like John Doe, prefer reading. I have probably read more books in the last year than most have read in their lifetime. TV "news" is dead. Long live print media...

Fox information is not any more beneficial than a paid for commercial for the G.O.P. As for CNN, and all some thing else, they the position more beneficial conservative, now they look liberal. in my view, i imagine that the few those that own controlling activity in this united states tell them what to do and at the same time as to do it. no longer that any of that's for our earnings. yet that's basically my address it. i imagine a similar issue holds real for our authorities.

I can't tell the difference between CBS, ABC, or NBC. They all have the same take on everything. It's very insidious when news organizations parrot each other. When the entire press starts using a word like gravitas, you have to wonder who or what, is the main source for all these talking points. I no longer watch network news. I use the Internet/talk radio/Brit Hume.

Instead of focusing so much on LABELING PEOPLE (hint, hint, dearie), why not just monitor what you think are a "left" and a "right" leaning network...or better yet, READ two "opposing" newspapers and make up your own mind where the truth lies?
Personally, I spend very little time watching TV news programs. I don't need the visual dramatics.
I find reading a much better venue. Most people don't read enough, anyway.
