Do they still shout random words out or what?

I don't mean to offend any sufferers or their families, I read a brief article in a mag today, and just wanted to find out more.
So don't be 'funny' . How are people going to learn about stuff if they don't ask? That's what Y A is for init?

Stuff like "AAARGH" "AAAHH" "GRRR" "DAMN" and whatever they say when they're angry or frustrated.

Check it out on the Internet. I remember coming into contact with a person who had epilepsy,at first I was confused, but I found out as much as I could and it has left me with nothing but admiration for anyone who suffers from it.

My grandmother had encephalitis (I know it is not tourettes, but the outcome was similar) and had lots of uncontrolled verbal out bursts. She had never used to swear (or, at least she never used swear words) so she would come out with lots of 'well I never' and such.

Most people with Tourette's don't swear - they suffer involuntary twitches and verbal outbursts. The swearing sort is very rare.

I think i have a touch of tourettette's. My lips have released many a word without restraint. An interesting question. I enjoyed the answers.

Tourettes doesn;t mean you swer all the time, but say what what ever comes into your head. I.e. 'Let's go to war with Iraq', 'My best friend is George Bush', 'Argh I hate David Cameron', 'I have big ears and my name is Tony Blair' etc (to name one person that I believe tyo have tourrettes but no-one lese knows!)

Yah. My cousin has tourettes, and she is little so she shouts things like AHHHHH, I HATE YOU, AND SHUT UP!, alot, REALLY loud.

something they would normally shout when they are annoyed, i always say damn when I'm at work and get annoyed
