The old tried and true way works best. Begin by joining a local choir. Practice and get your name known around your church or place of worship. Then invest some money and make a recording of some of your work. Send the CD's to local radio stations and talent agencies. They'll get you on your way.

You need to have the initial talent, then practice, then get a good agent and if you get a good break, voila; you are another Sinatra or Bob Marley or who knows?

audition for musicals (maybe American Idol?), join a chourus, take classes
