Having worked in family law for the past 15 years, the Number of happily married couples still outweigh the number of couples divorcing.

A recent poll showed that divorces are about 51% compared to happily married at 49% so basically they are about equal for now

absolutly! people think there are no consequences to getting married, divorce is to easy. people look at dovorce as a way out so they get married thinking if it doesnt work they have a safety net.
