Having worked in family law for the past 15 years, the Number of happily married couples still outweigh the number of couples divorcing.

A recent poll showed that divorces are about 51% compared to happily married at 49% so basically they are about equal for now

absolutly! people think there are no consequences to getting married, divorce is to easy. people look at dovorce as a way out so they get married thinking if it doesnt work they have a safety net.

I have a great marriage, but only because we have the emotional maturity needed in ANY relationship to get through the dark times.
Marriage is NOT the issue.
Love and committment are the issue.
