front passengers foot well always wet, checked sunroof/ windscreen, temperature light comes on after 1 mile or 1 minute, have been told engine may go into idle mode, hasn't yet? thanks.

If your coolant level is constantly going down then it probably
is the heater rad inside the car & onces the level drops below a certain point this will put on the warning light. Or if coolant level stays ok could be the water drains from beneath the windscreen
is blocked & water is getting in through the heater box, the coolant temp switch also gives trouble so replace it, it will do no harm & only costs about 30euro or 20stg.

it sounds like your heater matrix may have a leak. as it is in side the car under the dash board and is part of the cars coolin system.

Your heater core is leaking. Need to replace it.
