Most of them just print you up and make you pay for the book. It's a scam. You should not have to pay to see your poetry in a book. They should pay you not you pay them.

There are hundreds of paying markets for poetry. I suggest you pick up a copy of Writer's Digest, The Writer, or Poets & Writers in order to find the latest market listings for poetry.

Realize, however, that NO PUBLISHER is obligated to publish your work. Your desire to see your work in print means nothing if your work is not good enough for publication. So make sure when you submit you are submitting your best work, not just throwing stuff out there to see your name in print.
