I have 2 betta fish, and they both live in seperate small glass plant vases, with plants in them, and all they both seem to do is swim up and down the sides of the glass. Is this normal, or are they sick or what. Im not sure (they can't see each other, there not close enough)

Get it a real tank. Vases kill the fish. Do you still feed it? VASES KILL!!!!!

Yes, it just needs some time to relax, my bettas did that too, it was normal for the first 5 or 6 months. After that you should ask the place you got the fish. Do you have a stress reducer?

don't listen to the numbnuts who say you need a bigger tank. I have a 40 gallon with only 4 fish, and they swim up and down the sides all the time. bettas don't need much space.

Your betta is depressed. You should get a bigger aquarium and buy more bettas.

If you like you can add an Arowana fish in the mix.

If someone put you in a little vase with a big, stupid peace lilly you'd be depressed too. Give that fish a better home! That is torture!
