Just wondering what you think of the name Harrison Samuel for a baby boy. I don't want him called Harry, but maybe Harris would be ok if he had to have a nickname.

I think it's a great name and Harris would be a good nickname for him.

I really like both of the names but I am not 100% sure that I love them together. I think it would completely depend on the last name.

I also think that Samuel Harrison sounds very nice and Sam is an adorable nickname for a little boy.

Other names that are similiar that I think flow a bit better:
Harrison Gabriel
Harrison Joel
Harrison Cole

Good Luck. SD

Harrison is great. Samuel seems an odd pairing. I like the suggestion someone else made for Harrison James. Very sophisticated and professional sounding. A name worthy of respect.
Harris is a good alternative nickname to Harry if you want one at all. My daughter's name is Lauren and several people have tried to call her Laurie. I hate Laurie and I stopped that immediately. Her name is Lauren. If you do not want Harrison to have a nickname at all then tell people "his name is Harrison".

i once knew a little boy named harrison, and i think it's a great name. i also have a wonderful uncle named harry, so i like that, too. i never did care much for samuel, but it goes well with harrison.

I like Harrison, but Harrison Samuel, while ok, is a mouthful to have to yell at a kid causing trouble (which is when his middle name will be used most often). I would seek out a one syllable middle name (like James as someone suggested).
