It seems over the past few years, it has become "wrong" to speak out against homosexuality. Any time someone says something against it, they are labeled a 'homophobe'. Just because some of us have our morales and are against the acts of homosexuality, doesnt mean we hate them or are "homophobic". We just believe its wrong and should not be promoted as its becoming today. Just imagine in the future, your little kids reading the Prince and The Prince in kindergarten. Today it seems they are just trying to shove homosexuality in our face. More and more gay characters on tv and so on. If you want to live your life that way, fine. Do it. But do it privately. Cut down on the 'acting' gay crap and keep it to yourselves. Dont throw it in our face. Fine you are gay. But its not like i want to know about it. What is with the gay talk and walk and so on? Be gay but why do you over do it? Also, dont get mad at others who oppose you. Most dont HATE gays, we hate the acts and find them wrong.

For centuries it has been thought to be immoral and just because society is forcing the world to accept it does not make it right all of a sudden. Where do we draw the line anyways? Whats next, we make it ok for men to perform acts with little kids just because thats the way they want to live?
Back to the general, I hope he stands by his words and does not apologize. That is his belief and really, the military's belief as well for the most part. Do not join if you have an issue with it. We dont need any extra drama on the front lines. If you do join and are gay, be smart and keep it to yourself. You would be able to do so if you joined for the right reasons. To serve your country.

I'm not a homophobe but i agree with General Pace. he was just expressing his beliefs with his right of free speech. Everyone has different morales and i agree with you that we are unrightfully accused of being homophobic if we say that we just don't agree with gay marriages. The homosexuals want to be treated as equals but i don't like how they're trying to do this. Everyday when i walk in the halls at my school, when a straight couple is making out, they are reprimanded but when a gay couple is making out, the teachers say nothing for fear of being labeled a homophobe. I hope General Pace stands by his statement.

Nah, he is sooo right. Homosexuality is immoral. Problem with so many today is that they don't know right from wrong and are that cursed generation that was spoken about long ago.
