I live in Lenzie and work in Motherwell my old car was a ford escort, as i have quite a long round trip every day i desided to do my bit for the environment, so i bought a subaru had it fitted with high time valves also got it chipped with a couple of other green modes it now has a respectable 375hp cutting down my driving time by at least 33% I have mostly motorway miles m73 to m74 to commute and i save the environment an amazing 14mins in the morn and 8mins going home (traffic). this works out to over 80 hours driving time a year that i am saving for our planet on my trips to work alone, not only that but i now get a wonderful feelgood facture as I know that i am doing my part in preserving mother earth for our so deserving and charming youth.

You do know the faster you go, the the more greenhouse gases you emit. A slower steadier pace is more environmentally friendly solution.

100 % for effort
50% for actual efficiency.

Your obviously doing your bit, but JJ is absolutely correct. If you slow down a bit in your energy efficient car, and add the 22 minutes saved back onto your journey - you'll actually be cutting your carbon emissions by a good deal more than you are now.

common misconception by people is to think that cars and factories are the problems in causing global warming. infact the ocean creates more CO2 emissions then all the cars and factories put together. after the oceans comes live volcano's. its a fact.

there nothing you can do, its just mother nature warming the earth itself, and in a few hundred years, it will cool down by itself.
