In case u hadn't noticed globalization is kind of a fate compli...that horse is already out of the barn. The Fed has done a brilliant job of controlling the amount of currency in the system (and as such controlled inflation). I was an Econ minor in college and I think they have done nothing short of a super job the last 20 years. So I vote NO...I would like to have the U.S. enforce trade sanctions on our trading partners that constantly cheat us with their export/import programs.

Ron Paul has always had great ideas...and is the most conservative in congress.

The problem is that he wants minimal gov't...that provides little services to people. Americans want a proactive gov't.

Many of his ideas are pure Libertarian....and that philosophy has been rejected for years by Americans.

If he runs, I might vote for him. Otherwise, it's Bugs Bunny '08.
