There isn't any Ghostbusters remake in the pipeline. Ghostbusters 3 will be released next year in the form of a video game. I don't know where you got this Gumby and Pokey crap, but to answer your question, no. That's just dumb.

I think the elasticity of Gumby and Pokey make them suitable for any role. The stretch will bag them Oscars.
Then again I was rooting for Nick Cage to get the Superman role.
