yes you can, if you have sex....
your period is supposed to happen at the end of/beginning of your cycle so though it is true you should not be able to? I know way too many women (including family) who have....

That's exactly how my friend got her son. She thought that she couldn't get pregnant while on her period.

I dont think so.
When you get your period it is your body flushing out the unfertilized egg that the ovary sent out. That and the padding that the womb created. And when you dont get fertilized, the body excretes it in your blood. If it is fertilized, then the body puts it into the womb and starts developing the fetus.

I've heard of it happening, but I don't think it happens often. I've also heard of people getting pregnant while on birth control pills, but that's not often either. I suppose someone has to be that 2%

The reason why i know that you can is because i got pregnant on my period. My husband and i had sex on the 3rd day of my period and i became pregnant however i miscarried at 5 weeks.
