I dont think that you can just point out one person.Theres alot of people who have died in the last ten years who deserve respect.Theres people out there that dont deserve it either, but you see that their the ones that are being talked about, and the ones being seen on the news. And everyone wonders why American children are turning to drugs and drinking and killing.Look what our teen eyes are having to see? They constantly run a broadcast about someone whose famous and does drugs. You can always find a picture of Paris Hilton or Lindsay Lohan in the newspaper, and their drunk in every picture. Those girls set bad examples, but their being read about by us teen girls. And the good role models, like Hilary Duff, always get put down.We need help.

We have lost our humility and kindness....we are so wrapped up in the latest scandal and exploiting people's train wrecks. We've become such a mean society, we are gluttons for viewing the discomfort and and embarrassment of others. We have glorified and rewarded the debasement of others. We have let the media promote the basest human behavior. It's cool to make fun of people..call them names, tell them they suck. We've let reality tv become the norm for behavior today. It's really sad that we all seem to get off on the next person that is going to take public scourging from the sharp tongue of some idiot judge or some narcissistic fool dropped off on an island, the sole intent to screw over the rest of the people there by ganging up on them and playing mind games. When did acting like a horrible human being become ok?

Was my best friend for awhile. I knew I could count on him to be there. Well, I wasn't there for him when I should have been. Now, guilt for not being there for him keeps me from trying to contact him.
