going to newcastle v man city match at the end of this month.just wondering do ya think would it be safe to wear my newcastle top on train considering il be getting in manchester and coming back to manchester on the way back.i say yes i dont care but my girlfriend says no its not safe!

i'm asian and a frequent traveller to europe.
been to UK many times and have to say that i feel pretty safe travelling in UK alone.. be it day or nite.
so just go with yr guts...if you are afraid.. bring a jacket along..u might need it...lol.....

i havent been to an away game for about 4 years. my mates still go and each time as long as the top is covered in public no one will care. i do remember being in a pub in london surrounded by spurs fans saying Go On show us your top, followed by say something in geordie!!
