Has this ever happen to u?
When i'm sleeping sometimes, I dream( well i think I'm dreaming) that something or someone is holding me down, i can't move or scream no matter what I do..
i've had that happen to me a couple of times..once it freaked me out so bad that i ended up sleeping in my sisters room. I have no idea what it is or if it's just my imagination- but i hate it. I sometimes lie awake for hours after just praying that it won't happen again!

If you are saying that you kept waking up then yes it must be a dream but if you aren't sure and it seems like you were half awake and half asleep then it could be a demon (evil ghost)..... you should talk to someone about it, like a family member .... don't let whatever it is stress you out........ I use to hear these really creepy voices/noises every night ever since I was 7 years old all the way until 14 years old and I got sooo fed up with it because the voices just kept getting worse so I went to a priest and told him about it so he did a prayer and I never heard the voices again. Try praying before you go to bed. I hope that helps :-)

I never had the same dream as yours, but I did have a similar situation. A couple of times when I was smaller, I had dreams of monsters chasing me and stuff like that. When I woke up, I saw the monster standing next to me, and then it disappeared. It's just an illusion that when you wake up, you see what was in your dream because you're not fully awake. What I did was just close my eyes for a minute, and open them again. That's when I'm a little more awake and don't see what was in my dream.

Sleep paralysis, maybe, partially. The thing with the red eyes that goes away after you say the Lord's Prayer is another thing and frightening. Doesn't sound like a ghost but something more evil and maybe resentful of you for some reason. Check out the history of where you live.

I've had this happen to me a handful of times. I thought it was something supernatural. I then looked in to it a bit more, and its actually something called sleep paralysis. It's something to do with your mind being awake and your body not catching up quickly enough. (google it, they explain it much better) apparently when experiencing it there is always a threat near by too, which for you was the fear of the door, for me it was a burning candle near by (not actually there) and for a friend, someone climbing through his window. Turns out also a lot of 'alien abduction' theories also come down to this form of sleep paralyisis. I do believe in spirits, and would not be quick to judget anyone that was actually experiencing spirit activity, but would think there may be a more scientific explanation for what's happening to you.

Look at your everyday life and you will find the answer to your problem, something is bothering you, and creating to much anxiety in your mind, and when you go to sleep your brain is trying to handle it and can't. Your mind is creating your anxiety as demons and you are scared, you must do two things, first try and understand what is bothering you in everyday life and deal with it by standing up for yourself and fighting back in a positive way, secondly when you go to sleep at night look foreward to whatever comes to you in your dreams face them up and tell them you are not scared of them that they cannot hurt you, and tell them to get lost. and if you feel saying the lords prayer helps you then say it, but don't be afraid of your dreams anymore. It will stop I know for I suffered through this condition myself and that is what I did and it works, What is happening is you are creating your own demons, because of your anxiety, and you can stop it if you do as I have said.

That´s caused by a very common condition called "sleep paralysis" prior or immediately after falling asleep our body is paralised and our body is awake. Hallucinations are also frequent, and when the subject has had a religious background, than those might generate demon-like imagery.

Sounds liek you're dreaming you're dreaming, then you wake up in your dream and you donl;t realize you're still dreaming. Still, it might be a good idea to get a medical check up. It may be that your body is having difficulty breathing while you are askleep, and all this is the body's attempt to solve the problem.
