I have had an ongoing problem with my next door neighbors, they make my life a misery, I have had nails put in my tyres, my car scratched, they bad mouth me to all my other neighbors which has caused them all to back off, I have been assaulted by the husband and have had to call the police which resulted in him receiving a caution, yet he continues to intimidate me when he knows no one is watching.
This situation is making me ill besides moving what else can i do?

moving is a crap shoot you could very well end up living beside someone just as bad i am living in the same situation now and have no really good ideas how to handle it but wanted to let you know you are not alone,my neighbors stand in the back yard smoke pot hes 14 play loud music all night my day starts at 5 45 every morning and on the week-ends you cant even drive down the road for all the teens hanging out and being in the way its driving me crazy and we are moving as soon as we find another house crap shoot or not this place is hell.

There are two sides to every story....what has made this man be on the "hunt" for you?
Other then moving there isn't anything you can do. Police will tell you that they can not do anything unless it happens, not for something that could happen. You could try to get a restraining order but I'm not to sure if you can get one based on this story...Good Luck

I'd move.... the situation can escalate further. Fighting on principle only adds to the stress, making a very dangerous situation for your family. It's not worth it! Even if you do decide to stay and record all the abuse your neighbor is taking out on your family... going to court and hiring a lawyer... in the end even if you do win... (force them to move away) it's still not worth it.

I wouldn't recommend fighting back, cause someone could get hurt. Just take out a restraining order if you don't want to move. But I would probably be looking for another place to live if I were you.

I used to live next door to abusive neighbours and although i moved away my mum and her boyfriend lived there for another year before they sold the house and moved away(not because of the neighbours).The only way to stop this intimidation is to log everything they say or do to you,secretly record anything they do to deface your property and then when you have sufficient evidence take it to the police station and make them do something........good luck.

you poor thing, what a nightmare. Keep a diary of all the things they do and, if possible install ctv to gather more proof. Keep going back to report them to the police and pester them to do more to protect you and your family. I expect your other neighbours have backed off because they are scared the same will happen to them. Don't take it personally. I really hope things get better for you. x x

You should move and bust that guy! He doesn't have the right to do anything to you and your property. Make sure to call the police AGAIN and move admittedly, or it'll go on FOREVER. He's just a loser and a fool... don't worry, when you move, he'll have no one to pick on!... well unless someone else... lol...

you have got a serious problem you need to sort this out quick, tell the police and get an asbo order put on them, try catching any event that happen on video as evidence

pay some one to smash there windows put nails in there tyres & scratch there car the going rate is £50
