I don't hate either of them. I also don't trust either of them.

While I "dislike" many of GWBs actions (and many of Clintons), I do not "hate" the person behind those actions.

It is my "love the sinner, condemn the sin" mentality.

Excellent, non-partisan question.

If the left would stop steering the nation left and the right would stop steering the nation right, maybe the nation could start moving forward.

We need to stop looking backwards with anger and start looking forward with hope. I am looking forward with hope...

I believe a lot of Conservatives will feel differently about GWB after he is out of office. I see the Clinton hatred as a response to any Bush hatred. It's the "wash" technique.

RLP, I'm proud of you!

Actually posting a question that is not a blatant slur!

A: I certainly, sincerely hope so. Willy is history, and soon, Dubya will also share that status.

Neither man was perfect; both had character flaws.

Anyone who suggests otherwise is retarded. Sorry.

I love my country, but you have to admit, we've voted some men in to office that were disappointing on several levels.

Yeah, babe...I hope that we can all get over ourselves and our "hatreds" and move forward. Always forward.

I'm conservative, and i could care less about Clinton. And those who do care are not conservative, they are self hating morons. As far as Bush goes, i DO hate him. He is the most liberal GOP president in history, and also the dumbest. supporting him requires conservatives to turn our back on the very ideals that made conservatism great to begin with.

I don't believe this. RLP, actually managed to ask a TOTALLY unbiased question ! Hell is freezing over.
The answer to your question is no. The scars run too deep. Think of Nixon,Carter, and Reagan. Their political opponents still detest them to this day. Presidents have too much influence over our lives for too long for us to forget about how we felt about them.
Despite the popular theme that history might judge a President better than his contemporaries did, it seldom happens.

Of course not because if they stopped the mud-slinging, finger pointing and name calling, they might actually have to step up to the plate and do something constructive. It's much easier to play the blame game outlining who did what wrong and who's to blame for all the evil in the world than it is to actually do something about it.

I've hated the Clinton's since I laid eyes on them. They have proven my gut reaction more than correct on every occasion.
