That is a psychologist, counseling or clinical. To be licensed as a psychologist, most states require one of two types of graduate degrees:
Ph. D: This is the traditional Doctor of Philosophy. You spend around 4-5 years after your undergraduate obtaining this degree. There is a heavy focus on research, and institutions accept only very small numbers every year, so it is very competitive.
Psy. D: This is a Doctor of Psychology degree. You spend around 4 years after your undergrad, but the focus is more on counseling and practice instead of research. It is slightly easier to get into psy d programs.
Both make around the same amount of money after graduation, but Ph.D. programs are often free (because you do research for the university) while you have to pay for a Psy. D program.

Psychiatrist most likely. Yes, psychologists do this, but a lot of psychiatrists do it a lot. Psychiatrists have to go to medical school to become an actual doctor. If you want to be a psychologist you will have to get a doctorate degree in psychology or some type of related field. Please look into the different types of jobs concerning mental health such as counseling, psychology, and psychiatry. All three are so complex and different, but in many ways the same. I hope that I have helped. I have considered all jobs in these fields, I finally decided that I probably would like counseling better.

Your major is a lot more beneficial major until eventually you're attending an Ivy league college. yet, as between the others observed, a random lib arts degree may no longer get you the finest job in spite of if its from Harvard (inspite of the actuality that you would likely have a much more beneficial useful chance at touchdown a writing/editor job with a harvard english degree than one from a random state college.)

Actually that is a counseling psychologist. Clinical can do that too, but that is the main purpose of counseling psychologists and they don't deal as much with serious disorders as much as they do with helping people with everyday life.
