and becasue its so small, would it over heat?

It isn't the fact that it overheats. Sure, it is a great computer but get an imac or mac pro if
a. you are doing any sort of gaming
b. you want to be able to upgrade (you can upgrade the ram in an imac, but the mac pro it made for upgrading!)

No, it won't overheat! Unless, maybe you wrapped it in blankets! The Mac Mini is powerful enough for normal home tasks, but it would be underpowered...in terms of ram...for processor intensive tasks.

How could it overheat if it's so cool--it's not like you're getting a Core2Duo.
