Abraham Lincoln would roll in his grave when he sees how his party turned into one of greed and corruption - not that the Democrats have done any better. Lincoln took a bullet for his views - his own party couldn't stand him. I think a lot of people in today's GOP learned that lesson - if a bullet doesn't kill you, a man in black will kill you in your sleep. As a result, supporting gas gouging is the only option many GOP people have.
