first, mazeltov on becoming a daddy! best of luck and health to you all!

do you cook? do the laundry? if not, start now, and keep up the habit - she's going to need even more help with these chores after the little darling arrives... don't ask "how are you feeling?" pretty much, she is feeling tired, achy, huge, crabby, sad, happy, scared, excited, bloated, pretty, not pretty, etc... all at the same time. pregnancy & raging hormones are not nice.

when she asks you to do something to help get ready for the baby - DO IT! don't ask "why are we doing this?" or whine about having to do it... no matter how trivial it may seem to you. at the moment she asks you, it is the most important thing in the world to her.

You're asking a question every man would like to know the answer to. You can't keep a pregnant woman constantly happy and never getting upset. Those hormones will get you every time. Good luck and be sure to duck!!

Agree with everything she says

Do not argue with her, you will not win!

Remember that some way this is all your fault

Tell her every day how beautiful she looks pregnant, and how lucky you are to be with her.

Acknowledge every thing she does, even if it was her just drinking her 8 glasses of water for the day

Most inportant, tell her and show her how much you love her

Basically just cater to her. DO tell her she looks beautiful - many women start to feel ugly and "fat". Understand that many changes are happening in her body which will probably produce "mood swings". I knew one girl who was crying hysterically in the middle of the night because she wanted fruity pebbles! Be helpful, kind, understanding, do not criticize her, back rubs are a plus and - if she has some crazy craving..get it for her. Also...be involved..act excited if the baby is kicking and feel her stomach! Good luck to you both!

Try and be positive about everything I know it will be hard cause she will be a pain in the *** at times. But you love her and want the peace of mind too. So just cater to her needs and it will come back to you later. Run her a bubble bath, give her leg and foot massages, rub her neck and shoulders. Tell her how beautiful she is, kiss her gently on the neck and then her lips and rub and kiss her belly.

When my sister was pregnant, she was having a hard time with her husband.

We just did nice things for her and asked him to give her lots of hugs and kisses. And my mother and I would rub her feet and put cream on her belly.

I am sure she would have appreciated if her husband did these things. And a massage too.

And my cousin's husband used to leave nice notes around their house with messages. They would say, I love you. You look nice today.

Don't just pay attention to her baby.

The pregnant women in my family were moody and hungry and sore.

Help that and I am sure she will be okay.

Go to the store and get her whatever she is craving. Make dinner and clean the house. Tell her she looks great, blah blah. That's to keep her happy.

To prevent her from getting upset, don't contradict her and be supportive.

ha ha ha ha figure out how to stay away and be there at the same time. Your going to have days that no matter what you do it won't be right. Then days when the crying starts and you are the greatest guy on earth. Go with the flow, and pray for your sanity. because she is going to loose hers.

Buy her something she can use when the baby is born i.e. new clothes!!!
Treat her to a spa or just say I LOVE YOU. and explain how proud you are of her and appreciate her. Sometimes, women prefer words than gifts!

Compliments compliments compliments. When you're a pregnant woman, your self-esteem takes a hard blow. Make sure you make her feel beautiful all the time...Even when she's big as a damn house...you make sure she knows that she is gorgeous to you. Rub her belly, talk to your baby. Tell your baby how beautiful his/her mommy is. Trust me when I tell you, it works and you don't have to spend a dime.to pay a compliment
