Yes you can because I got pregnant when i was on my period. It all depends on when you ovulate expecially if you have an irregular cycle. And also sperm can live inside you for 3-5 days before meeting up with the egg...and its very possible to get pregnant on your period because the eggs is getting ready to come out so its very open to fertalization. So those people that tell you it cant happen havent read up on it because it happens more than most people know. Good Luck

It is hard actually to get pregnant when you are on your period. The period is the releasing of your eggs, which means that it is no longer connected to your ovaries, which means it would be hard for the egg to contract a sperm. Get a professional opinion though, because I have heard that you CAN get pregnant while on your period. There are ovulation tests that you can buy at drug stores which let you know when your body is at it's highest risk of conceiving. Good luck.

You can only get pregnant when you are ovulating, which is in the middle of your cycle....usually about 14 days AFTER your period.

No. the best time to conceive is when you are ovulating, usually about 10 days after the start of your period. However, contrary to popular belief, you can get pregnant if you have sex while you have your period, it is just less common.

u cant get pregnant on ur period at all! u can get pregnant on day 11-13 of ur cycle.the first day of ur period is day one.count 11 days to 13 days after that first day.thats when u can get pregnant.so,if ur period starts march 5,then march 15-17 is when ur fertile.there can be individual exceptions, but they are not usual.11 to 13 days of cycle is usual.

You can not get pregnant when you are on your period. You can only get pregnant when you are ovulating and you do not ovulate when you have your period.

Most women do not ovulate during their period, but it is possible. I would not consider your period a "safe time" because, although it is unlikely you would conceive, it can happen.
