i was talking wit him, n he cant multitask so he got fired. hes pretty mad at me.

I doubt that ONE time of talking too much got your friend fired. If he told you this, he is lying. No boss would fire a valued employee for one minor indiscretion. This might have been the straw that broke the camel's back, though, like he was on his last chance and he blew it by not working when he should have. Blaming you for this is like blaming the last kid who strikes out for losing the ball game...
However, it sounds like your friend IS blaming you and you do want to make the relationship right, so I'd just be around him and be a good friend to him. I don't think you 'owe' him anything, other than an understanding ear since he is upset about being fired.
