i like everyones answer except the guy that said 0% because i said, "if they make it"......so if they lose in the first round they wouldnt get the chance would they?

i agree that we had the game in the bag in columbus but osu is playing much better now, and tennessee never does well in the postseason. i think we have a chance but we better worry about LBSU and Virginia first!

oden's injury wasnt much of a factor as he had a MONSTER game against us (i believe 25 and 14 or something)

i am a HUGE UT fan but it kills me how unrealistic other vols fans are. tennessee is a big time overachiever and they just arent good enough to make a run deep in the tourney. but you never know! all i know is without lofton this team wouldn't have won 15 games all year

Bruce Pearl can get his guys hyped for a big game. He did it with the Horizon league Panthers, why couldn't he do it with SEC talent? He's beaten some good team already this year, like say, the #1 overall seed Florida and he came close to beating Ohio State once already in Columbous. Sure, Oden was still not 100%, but that home court advantage more than made up for it. I've actually got Tennessee in my final four in one of my brackets and Ohio State in another.

Oh boy, as a ravenous Vol fan I am pumped for this potential rematch. The Vols had the Buckeyes in the regular season game. Lofton and Ramar Smith just couldn't convert their free throws to make it a 2 possession game. Ohio State needed a final seconds three pointer to win that game, a game Tennessee should've had in the bag.

Now, as good as Pearl is at amping these guys up, you don't think they're going to come out fired up to put the Buckeyes away?

I give them an excellent chance not only to get to the sweet 16, but I also give them a GREAT chance to knock the Buckeyes off. I've been saying for awhile that Ohio State would be the first top seed knocked off. Now it looks like my Volunteers might get the chance to do it.

I hear alot of smack on the SEC latley...we had 2 teams in the final 4 last year and a repeat NIT champ??? Ohio State would have a problem in the SEC and i dont think they can take Tennessee on thier good day

I hate to say it, and I'm not looking at seeds, but Ohio State has way to many weapons for Tennessee to keep up, especially on a neutral court. I think even if you can neutralize Oden, Mike Conley is one of the most underrated guards in the country.

The Tennessee womens team is the number one seed, and OSU is the number four. Davenport for OSU is tough as they get but Tennessee has to much fire power.

They have a great chance.
Ohio, though playing good basketball, doesn't have the warriors to make it all the way.
they are lacking that extra something.
A freshman is their big man, they will get better in the next couple years.

0% chance. I have them losing to Long Beach State in the 1st round. They just aren't good enough.
