Well first of all LT, but I think Steven Jackson might give him a run for his money this year, he is emerging as one of the best in the league. Another notable mention, Willie Parker.

Tough question to answer in March but at the moment I'm going with Travis Henry to lead the AFC and Frank Gore to lead the NFC and the entire league in rushing. Travis Henry is a solid back in the Denver system. Last time we saw that Clinton Portis averaged over 1500 a season. Frank Gore is a strong and now durable back that has that Emmit Smith like style. The 49ers season is also make or break with Gore carrying the ball.

LaDanian will lead the league in all purpose yards however. He's going to be close to the top backs in running yards but his receiving yards is going to put him above anyone else in the overall catagory. Best player in the NFL right now.

Travis Henry will lead the league in rushing. The broncos finally have a real running back for the first time since trading away Portis. LT is gonna have to watch out for the madden curse.

LT will lead the league in rushing with Larry Johnson as a close second. Johnson will lead the league in total yards from scrimmage.

The odds on favorite is LT. He is getting his awesome Oline back for another season and even though other teams knew he was gonna run it, they could still not stop him (see the Broncos game & his record breaking carry)
I think it will be a run going through the season with Alexander and Larry Johnson in the competition, but LT should take another title.

You can't really tell b/c RB's are prone to injury, slumps, and pass first teams. Any player can bust out into a beast mode season, like LT this year. Many would say LT b/c of his monster season in '06, but no one in a while has repeated as the rushing champ. Who knows, maybe one of these rookie backs might come in and take the crown! That's why I say it's anybody's crown.

LT or Larry Johnson as a close second.

Johnson will see the ball 30-35 times per. If he gets going he could hit 2k

LT is good...but Frank Gore is an absolute beast! he'll lead the league no question. didn't you hear him saying he's going to break the rushing record for yards this year? he'd be my pick in a fantasy draft. Not to mention that San Fransisco is much improved.

Ya...prolly LT! Best RB in the league with the best fullback in the league...maybe not the best O-Line but damn close! And Philip Rivers will be way better next year!
